Netbooks were getting more and more popular these days and I got this idea of getting a Netbook instead of the Notebook. This new machine is for my wife who will also be blogging. So we decided that Netbook was a better choice. I quickly checked out the reviews of most of the Netbook available and found that ASUS EEE PC was rated as the best, very close the Acer. I decided to get ASUS EEE PC 1000HA model for 21k. Here are specifications and photos of my Netbook.

Specifications of ASUS EEE PC;

  • Intel Atom Processor 1.6 Ghtz
  • 1GB RAM
  • 160 GB Hard Disk
  • 7 Hour Battery
  • Windows XP
  • 3 USB Ports
  • Wi-Fi and Ethernet cable port
  • MMC SD Card Reader
  • In build speaker
  • 10GB EEE Online Storage

Overall I’m very much satisfied with the performance and now I’m planning to install Windows 7 home version once it is released along with Windows XP.
